This project focuses on visiting with our inpatient Veterans, offering conversation, encouragement, and a compassionate presence. These interactions have a tremendous positive impact—helping reduce feelings of isolation, lifting spirits, and showing Veterans that their community values and supports them. Volunteers are welcome to assemble care packages beforehand to distribute to patients during their visit. Project lead will advise on suitable items for care packages.
