Help us serve local families through the main Food & Paper Products drive-through pickup at Heartland. This team will arrive early to help pack, organize, stage, and prepare food and paper-product sets before guests begin arriving at 10:00 AM. Once the drive-through opens, volunteers will help welcome guests, check names, manage bag flow, direct cars through the parking lot, load items into vehicles, and help families move either toward the prayer area or toward the designated exit. This is a high-energy, hands-on Serve Day project that will require teamwork, flexibility, and a heart to help families feel welcomed and cared for. Some roles will involve packing and staging items. Other roles will involve parking lot flow, guest greeting, check-in, loading cars, or helping keep the line moving smoothly. Our goal is for the pickup experience to feel simple, organized, and dignifying for every family who comes through. Volunteers May Help With • Packing food and paper-product sets • Staging bags and supplies for distribution • Welcoming guests as they arrive • Checking names or confirming pickup information • Managing bag flow so the loading team has what they need • Directing cars through the parking lot • Loading food and paper products into vehicles • Directing guests toward the prayer area if they wish • Helping guests proceed toward the designated exit • Supporting the team wherever extra help is needed
